All they do is take your stuff and sell it on eBay or Craigslist... then charge you higher fees than eBay or Craigslist. Why not sell your stuff on your own? for a $100 item, they charge 25% commission...

Yes they are, but why pay someone for what you can do yourself?? www.proactiveconsignmentoutpost.com seems like a rip off to me...
The more a guy can do himself, the better off he will be.
Over a lifetime this can add up to BIG money..

AND...I am positive when I do my own work, I get a way better job.

Good boating to you.

The world is full of companies that provide a service for something we don't want to do. Lawn Care, Car Washes, Investment Advice, Restaurants. Some people choose to go that route... Their fee schedule is not 25%, though. Looking at the fine print, you net 85% on a $100 transaction. The eBay fees are included in that, so Proactive Consignment Outpost are really charging about 15% for their service.

I used to love eBaying. Taking the photos, writing up the item description, watching it sell, shipping it out, and pocketing some extra cash. But then things like jobs get in the way of that fun. Sure it's still fun but sometimes it's just too much work. That's where Proactive Consignment Outpost come along. You bring 'em some cool stuff (make sure each thing is worth more than $100!) and then they do all the work. Pretty cool, right?

Then they send you a check minus some fees for their troubles (What, did you think it was going to be free? hahaha) and that's it.

It's a pretty easy process. The staff is real nice and they know what they're doing. The photos looked pretty incredible too. Check 'em out!

Thanks guys, I want to buy a 1999 Smoker Craft that is on eBay and the owner said Proactive Consignment Outpost, www.proactiveconsignmentoutpost.com will handle the entire process. I'll make the purchase today, I guess you can never be too cautious and because of all the scamming going on out there, the good services are taken as bad services too. Thank you for this topic, it really helps making my decision!

Proactive Consignment Outpost are for real alright, I'm talking from my own experience with them, I used their services to buy a '94 Sun Tracker. I admit that I was afraid because it was used and there are a lot of things that can be wrong... especially when I was buying it sight unseen, but their 10 Day Return Policy and my uncles advises made me go ahead with the transaction and I am glad I did. They proved to be an excellent service and I will use them again if I have the chance.
